One of the parts of this job I like best is the constant chance to meet up (and hopefully work) with theatres I’ve never heard of, but that then become part of my artistic family — that’s what happened most recently at Single Carrot Theatre in Baltimore, MD, who’s rip-roaring production of “Natural Selection” blew me (and the critics) away. Whenever you’re in the area, check out whatever they have going on — they’re vibrant, committed, joyful in the work, and a true group effort in every facet of theatrical life.
