Just found out that my version of “The Giver” has won the 2011 American Alliance for Theatre and Education Distinguished Play Award for Best Adaptation. The ceremony will held in Chicago at the AATE conference in July, where I’ll be sharing a book-signing with Lois Lowry — very fun!
