The just-published “Ghosts In The Machine” arrived in the mail today.
Both the 70-minute and the 40-minute versions are about a group of teens who start getting weird texts from unknown numbers. Are people connecting with other people via the kids’ phones… or are the kids’ phones trying to connect with other phones via their people?

As a side-playwright-note: Cutting the original 70 minute version down by almost half(!!) was one of the most challenging – and in the end, satisfying – tasks I’ve taken on recently. It’s an ensemble piece, and I ended up cutting a character and one whole plot line. The new piece holds together nicely I think, but it is a different play….
